Jackson Township named after Andrew Jackson, is a township in Ocean County, New Jersey. The township is located within the New Jersey Pine Barrens. Jackson is the largest municipality by area in Ocean County. Jackson's is most famous for it's attraction Six Flags Great Adventure, which is home to the 456-foot (139 m) Kingda Ka, which as of 2014 is the tallest roller coaster in the world. Jackson is also home to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Six Flags Wild Safari, Jackson Shopping Outlets and Colliers Mills Wildlife Managemet Area.
